How to take visual notes and how to draw

VISUAL NOTES: For each of your reading sessions, you are expected to generate visual notes on 3 (or more)* ideas, which you will present to your group for each of your prototyping sessions (except for the first session).  In total, you are expected to present to your group 12 (or more) ideas in the form of visual notes. This also means that your infographic must include 12 (or more) ideas.

VISUAL NOTES RESOURCES:

1. Here are some basics on how to draw.

2. Here are some basics on taking visual notes.

3. This is a video on data visualization by the person who made the Left v. Right infographic referenced in another post.

4. Here are the visual notes that I produced for a previous lesson.  These notes are actually not that great because they rely heavily on text to convey a lot of their meaning, which means they are difficult to understand without the rather long lesson that they were designed to be paired with.

* That is, 3 is the minimum requirement.  4 (or more) is optional.
