How to plan a day

How to make a to do list:
1. Daily Routine: make a list of ordered invariant daily tasks
2. Master List: make list of desired accomplishments
3. Ax Seq: plot action sequences for each accomplishment
4. Prioritize: temporarily distribute action-tasks according to priority template
5. Plan a Day: plug a task distribution into a daily routine

How to make an action sequence:
1. Define the Output
2. Define the Inputs
3. Define the Actions that’ll get you from one to the other (i.e., ultimate, penultimate…, second, first)

How to determine what the next action needs to be (intra-project):
1) Assess what (thing, project, or skill) needs more work or added value?: Review whatever you’re working on, and then ask “Can I practically use this right now?”

2) Mark the items that still need work

3) Think about what work needs to be done, list (or do) this work, and add it to a to do list (or product) – “What to do?”: Think about and write down what work might need to be done; some of this work will consist of completing a given item. This often occurs in the process of planning something: you end up completing bits and pieces of the things that you are working on. Therefore, there are two types of items to be found on this list…
– a) Things to do (i.e., instructions)
– b) things to include (partial products – i.e., partial outputs): they are parts of a product coming-to-be what it will be (parts of which are elsewhere)

Future-Oriented Planning
1) What is the ultimate outcome?
2) What is the consequence of this action?
3) What are the next three steps after this action?
