Presentation standards

For your presentations*, include all of the following:

1.idea (e.g., In everyday interaction, we use the appearances of others in order to figure out what they expect of us and what we can expect of them, as well as for understanding what is going on more generally in the interaction.)

2.example (e.g., A teacher uses the focused gaze and nods of a student in order to determine that the student understands the material and that they expect the teacher to go on with the lesson.)

3.metaphor (e.g., Just as a detective uses clues to crack a case, people in everyday interaction use sign-vehicles in order to decipher the definition of the situation.)

4.visual(s) – this can be a diagram, a chart, a picture, etc.

*The criteria for your reports are slightly more detailed.

Materials:::: If you need certain classroom materials, then reserve them ahead of time.  They are first come first serve, which means that, for example, if you need to use the projector but it's already been reserved, then you will be unable to use it.  You might want to bring some alternative visual means.

What materials might you need?*
Access to computer
Access to dry erase board
Access to chalkboard (if applicable)
Access to paper wheel (if applicable)
Markers
Chalk (if applicable)
